Hi, I’m Kyra!
I'm a Melbourne-based wedding photographer and I’m so grateful you’ve stopped by.
Your wedding photographer will play such an important role on your wedding day. Not only in capturing beautiful imagery to remember it by, but also by creating an atmosphere that is relaxed, light-hearted and fun. When you look back at your photos, you will remember how you felt above all.
My approach is natural and unobtrusive. I’m a very easy-going person, keenly observant, and passionate about creating gorgeous photos for my couples.
Also, because I know you’re wondering, it’s pronounced “Kee-ra”.

A bit more about me
Photography feels like home to me, and there are so many places I have called ‘home’. I’m American, but I grew up in Senegal and Egypt because of my parents’ work. After Uni I taught Drama at international schools in Nicaragua and Singapore. When I’m in the US I call California home, but I’ve also lived in Oregon, Maryland, and Lake Tahoe. I’ve been shooting weddings in Australia for ten years now, and I am hooked!
At heart, my work is documentary in style, with a desire to tell your story in the most honest and beautiful way. I value authenticity, connection with others, art, romance, and humour. You’ll see a lot of these themes in my images.
I’ve been told I’m very calming, which is handy on a wedding day! I’m into hippie shit, interiors, camping, thrifting, revelry, and musical theatre. And although I love to travel, there is nowhere I’d rather be than cozy inside with my ‘forever home’, who are actually people - my little family of 4.
